Cyberpunk 2077 v1.06 breathtaking performance

Low FPS ?
Slow PC ?
As long as you and your neighbor can take fabulous selfies like this :

Who cares ? Don't throw your PC out the window over some unsuspecting chums just yet!

Here are two open source projects that aim to increase performance for Cyberpunk2077 so go get them:
1 : CyberEngineTweaks by Yamashi @ https://github.com/yamashi/CyberEngineTweaks
2 : ConfigOverhaulCyberpunk by derplayer @ https://github.com/derplayer/ConfigOverhaulCyberpunk

Installation is straight forward, go to the release page of each project and download the latest binary releases:
https://github.com/derplayer/ConfigOverhaulCyberpunk/releases
https://github.com/yamashi/CyberEngineTweaks/releases
Unpacking ConfigOverhaulCyberpunk in the following folder - it's the main folder -:

Unpack CyberEngineTweaks (the cyberengine which, as a side-note, is just a new version of Red engine, same engine that runs the witcher games but much improved) to this folder :

Check the plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks for a file named config.json and customize as you wish, if you wish.
Launching ConfigOverhaulCyberpunk.exe presents you with it's options.

Read it's docs on github if you want, but optimized is recommended.
If you have older than RTX 2000 or VEGA video card, disabling Async Compute could improve performance. Reset will just remove the tweaks.

-- ALL METHODS USED BY THESE PIECES OF SOFTWARE ARE NON DESTRUCTIVE --

They don't patch any binaries on the drive, no exes are modified, no hidden configs are left behind, all they do is tweak the game settings and inject code in memory at runtime to apply patches for memory allocation, multi threading fix etc. Nobody is touching your precious files at all. #opensource

Here is a before and after image comparison.

At first glance nothing much changes, upon closer inspection the patch removes a bunch of reflections, volumetrics and more.

Good stuff !
Your potato pc can now run Cyberpunk 2077. Such Breathtaking performance !
You're breathtaking !
